Responsibilities

About the role; Key Responsibilities; This position is based hybrid/on-site in Mentor, Ohio.; Lead the development and commercialization handoff for innovations that meet current and future market needs, while managing execution activities with a direct team of collaborators.; Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, resourcing, and budgets for strategic innovation platforms including solvent-free adhesives and PVC-free materials.; Articulate Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, align unmet market needs, and maintain visibility of project schedules, risks, and costs through regular dashboard reporting.; Drive process improvements for innovation prioritization, roadmapping, and execution accuracy while establishing robust business cases and project management tools.; Strategize across cross-functional teams and external suppliers to forecast potential risks, manage project scope, and systematically capture institutional lessons learned.

Requirements

Qualifications; Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Business or Technology-related field.; 7+ years of relevant project management experience, including leading technical and innovation-related projects.; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.; Strong financial and business acumen with expertise in project tracking software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheets) and business case development.; Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with proven experience presenting to all organizational levels and collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers.
