Commercial Surveying Apprentice - Manchester (September 2027 Start)

5-year trainee programme working towards a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management and Commercial / General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Start date 6th September 2027. Programme duration 5 years. Rotations across commercial and corporate properties, such as office spaces and retail stores, including Valuation, Agency, Capital Markets, Property & Asset Management, Residential, Work Dynamics and Consulting. Anyone without a degree can join the programme. Applicants must have permanent right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

Research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation; Learn how to use various property systems/databases to collect information for client solutions; Build relationships across the business and with clients; Draft and deliver work such as service charge budgets, client presentations and valuation reports; Visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings; Take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge and professional development

Requirements

GCSEs: C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent); A-Levels: 72 UCAS points, equivalent of 3 x D grades; A curious mindset so you can learn and grow; Passion and eagerness to contribute thoughts and fresh ideas; An interest in the property industry and how it can shape its future; Ability to connect with others easily and build strong relationships; Permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours
