Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Commis 2 – Samosa Maker to join the kitchen team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing different varieties of samosas and other Indian snacks while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.; Key Responsibilities; Prepare and produce different types of samosas according to standard recipes.; Prepare samosa fillings, dough, wrappers, and other required ingredients.; Ensure proper portioning, shaping, stuffing, sealing, and frying/baking of samosas.; Maintain consistency in taste, texture, size, and presentation.; Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.; Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.; Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.; Store ingredients properly and monitor freshness and quality.; Minimize food wastage and follow proper stock-handling procedures.; Support the kitchen team during high-volume production periods.; Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.; Requirements; Previous experience as a Samosa Maker, Commis 2, Commis Chef, Indian Snack Maker, or similar role .; Strong practical knowledge of samosa preparation and Indian snacks.; Ability to prepare samosas in large quantities while maintaining consistent quality.; Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.; Good teamwork and communication skills.; Physically fit and able to work for extended periods in a kitchen environment.; Candidates with experience in Indian restaurants, catering, hotels, QSRs, or food production kitchens will be preferred.
