Compliance License and Testing Analyst

The client's mission is to reduce the cost of capital across the world. The client has invented a new credit card powered by an advanced asset securing platform that enables much lower APRs for consumers. The work involves building the world's first completely autonomous asset-securing process, world-class risk models for underwriting, and a smooth, efficient product experience for consumers to apply, activate, and manage their credit cards. The role provides critical testing and licensing support to the Compliance Team: the candidate will learn regulatory requirements and the customer documentation used to meet them, test performance against those requirements, and communicate results to Compliance and Company Leadership. Pay is USD 8-10/hr, commensurate with experience and somewhat negotiable.

Responsibilities

Assist in facilitating state license applications; Organize and monitor licensing efforts; Assist in monitoring and testing company processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines; Document review, data analysis, and/or evidence production for the Compliance Department; Research testing findings, root cause issues, and develop / propose solutions for practices that are out of compliance; Take ownership over and provide recommendations for improvement of Compliance Management System processes; Prepare and maintain reports for management; Any other Compliance-related tasks necessary to ensure the growth of the Compliance Management System

Requirements

1-2 years experience in Compliance monitoring and testing; At least 1 year experience in business and lending licensing; Previous Compliance experience at a financial institution or bank; Experience in a technology-first environment; SQL experience required; Strong data analysis, orientation to deadline and detail; Quick learner who is willing to take on new challenges; Organization and Time Management skills are a must; Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; Ability to embrace and champion core values; Must be able to work US Pacific time 8AM to 5PM (with a 1-hour break in between); Must be based in the Philippines

Nice to have
