Concessions Cook, Seasonal Part Time

To consistently win one customer at a time through teamwork and living “The Levy Difference.” This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and execution of all duties assigned leading up to any event or group catering. Furthermore, we expect that the chosen candidate takes full ownership of these areas, and all that they entail. This position requires the ability to understand and execute any given menus and high volume food production and serve our client with the highest standard of service and quality controls.

Responsibilities

Oversee operation and execution of all duties assigned leading up to any event or group catering; Understand and execute menus and high volume food production; Serve clients with highest standard of service and quality controls; Complete station setup and breakdown responsibilities; Ensure food stations are setup to health and safety standards; Prepare food following recipe guidelines as directed; Complete food preparation and production in a timely manner; Understand menu items and answer guest inquiries; Adhere to cooking, plating, portioning, expediting, and serving standards; Maintain work area and adhere to food safety and sanitation practices; Provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests

Requirements

Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English; Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts; Must practice good personal hygiene; Must be able to effectively execute and receive instructions; Must complete all mandatory training; Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds; Must adhere to Compass health safety policy and wear cut glove when required

Nice to have

Previous experience or a combination of education in cooking, food prep, and/or culinary arts; French
