Concessions Floor Supervisor- Alamodome

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Floor Supervisor for Legends Global at the Alamodome. This position reports directly to the Concessions Manager and is responsible for supervision and direction of NPO Groups, SUB-Contractors and temporary labor employees in their duties of general building cleaning, as well as event rooms, event locations, hall set-ups and breakdowns as required by clients.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct NPO Groups, subcontractors and temporary labor employees in general building cleaning, event rooms, event locations, hall set-ups and breakdowns; Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff; Directly manage event day staff while having direct interaction with customers; Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory; Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures; Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality; Ensure all cash/alcohol handling procedures are documented and enforced; Interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures; Conduct physical audit of inventory and product, research and perform reconciliations; Supervise a crew of NPO Groups, subcontractors and temporary labor employees; Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; address complaints and resolve problems with employees in conjunction with Human Resources

Requirements

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age; Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards; Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting; Must be able to work fluently in English; Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions; Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps; Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time; Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services; High school diploma or equivalent required; Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training; Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience; Possess a strong working knowledge of facility housekeeping standards and practices as well as public assembly facility set-up requirements; Possess a strong attention to detail and the ability and initiative to maintain the facility as a first-class facility; Good organizational skills and attention to detail required; Person must be able to lift and move heavy objects of varying weight and size; Ability to effectively supervise a crew of custodial workers; Ability to read and write in English; Ability to motivate employees to maintain a high morale and positive attitude; Ability to handle more than one task at a time by prioritizing tasks
