Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality Mexican dishes following our established recipe guide; Work efficiently with fresh ingredients to create vibrant and authentic flavors; Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards; Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery; Adapt to changing customer demands and maintain productivity during peak hours; Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements to enhance our offerings; Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed; Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of all dishes; Assist in training new kitchen staff members on recipes and procedures; Actively engage in continuous learning to stay updated on culinary trends and techniques

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a Mexican or fast-casual restaurant setting; Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and flavor profiles; Food safety and hygiene certification; Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely; Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory; Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays; Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills; Passion for creating delicious food and providing an exceptional customer experience; Ability to adapt to new technologies and kitchen equipment; High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
