Crane Operator - Taxi (Winnipeg, MB)

Sterling Crane has an exciting opportunity for a Crane Operator (Journeyperson/Red Seal or 3rd Year Apprentice) based in our Winnipeg, MB branch.

Responsibilities

Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes; Rigging of equipment; Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard; Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed

Requirements

3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate; Class 1A driver's license; demonstrate safe work practices; follow company policies; work well independently and as part of a team; good standing with IUOE 987 or become a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 987; successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
