CT Technologist

From complex contrast-enhanced studies to 3D renderings and cardiac protocols, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

Responsibilities

Producing high-quality CT images; Performing high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols; Producing diagnostic-grade images; Applying ALARA radiation safety principles; Maintaining clean, complete, real-time documentation; Managing own workflow and keeping room ready; Troubleshooting equipment issues on GE, Siemens, or Philips platforms; Ensuring proper patient identification, reviewing medical history, explaining procedures, and caring for patient comfort and safety; Responding swiftly to contrast reactions; Maintaining infection control standards; Mentoring students and modeling best practices

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT) required; Valid state licensure current (where required); CPR/BLS certified and current; Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms; Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment; Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
