Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative at Circle K Store 2743668: 204 Seven Fields Blvd, Seven Fields, Pennsylvania 16046. Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner; maintains the store facility’s condition and equipment; completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise; controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; keeps accurate cash, sales and inventory control records; reports all incidents; and provides regular and predicable onsite attendance.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt excellent customer service; Greets customers as they enter and thanks customers as they leave; Rings up sales on cash register and handles payments; Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions; Maintains store facility condition and cleanliness; Inspects store facilities and equipment for safety; Completes build-to's for ordering/purchasing merchandise; Receives and verifies vendor deliveries; Maintains adequate stock and rotates stock; Places advertising and pricing signage; Controls merchandise, cash shortages and other selling expenses; Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits; Keeps accurate cash, sales and inventory control records; Reports all incidents including injuries, theft, property damage or improper sanitation; Keeps accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork; Provides regular and predicable onsite attendance

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; Experience in retail sales preferred; Ability to accurately operate cash registers or scanners, hot/cold beverage dispensers, and other machines or tools; Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time; Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred; Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below; Ability to work in conditions described below; Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes; Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds; Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift; Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds; Ability to reach overhead; Ability to bend and twist at waist; Ability to communicate orally; Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard; Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull; Ability to work alone; Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift; May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
