Customer Support Officer - First Nations Identified Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for people accessing our services. You'll support customers with appointments, answer questions, provide information, and help them navigate their journey with confidence. Responsibilities

Supporting customers with bookings, appointments, and enquiries; Listening to customer needs and providing practical solutions; Accurately recording information using internal systems; Building positive relationships through respectful communication; Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple sites; Learning new processes and adapting to change; Maintaining professionalism while supporting people from diverse backgrounds; Contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers

Requirements

Open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants (First Nations Identified Role); Enjoy helping people and building positive relationships; Communicate clearly, respectfully, and with empathy; Stay calm and focused when situations become challenging; Are comfortable learning new systems and technology; Have experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, administration, call centres, community services, or similar environments; Can manage competing priorities in a busy workplace; Work well independently and as part of a team; Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Understand the importance of meeting commitments and delivering quality outcomes; This role requires standard pre-employment checks, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check
