Data Analyst (Finance) - Alexandria

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll transform financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that help our business make better decisions. Working closely with FP&A, Professional Services, Customer Success and other business teams, you'll own reporting, creating and improving dashboards, and help make our data easier to understand and trust.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and other business functions; Deliver reporting on key business metrics such as ARR, MRR, profitability, ROI and customer performance; Translate business questions into clear reports and visualizations; Continuously improve existing reports; Build and maintain data models using Power Query; Combine and transform data from multiple business systems; Ensure reporting is based on consistent, reliable and well-understood data; Act as the technical owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within Finance; Work closely with IT and Data Engineering; Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success and other departments; Explain calculations, KPIs and data sources to stakeholders; Support ad hoc analyses; Stay curious about new technologies and explore how they can simplify Finance workflows

Requirements

3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or in a similar analytics role; Strong hands-on experience with both Power BI and Power Query is required; Experience working with financial or operational reporting; Experience working with ERP systems; Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights; (Near) native English and excellent communication skills with the confidence to explain reports, calculations and data to non-technical stakeholders; A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of reporting

Nice to have

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred)
