Data Privacy Attorney

A leading law firm with more than twenty years in business is seeking an Attorney with a strong background in Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, or AI Privacy. This role involves advising clients on commercial contracts used by clients in SaaS, data processing, IP licensing, and M&A. You'll work with a wide range of clients in Software / SaaS, health sciences, tech, R&D, and more. The firm focuses on having a great balance and work environment - 1500 billable hours, $0 out of pocket healthcare, 401K with match, multiple bonuses, hybrid work environment, excellent parental leave policy, etc.

Responsibilities

Advising clients on commercial contracts used by clients in SaaS, data processing, IP licensing, and M&A; Working with a wide range of clients in Software / SaaS, health sciences, tech, R&D, and more

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of legal practice with a focus on data privacy law; Experience with Software licensing or other SaaS related contracts; Contract negotiation; Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

Experience with software, SaaS, biotech, or similar industries; Background in large corporations or national law firms
