Responsibilities

The Role; Essential duties include, but are not limited to:; Complete daily vehicle inspection and safety checks before starting delivery routes; Load and unload delivery vehicles according to prescribed safety standards; Transport and deliver products to customers following predetermined routes and schedules; Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures for all completed deliveries; Handle delivery documentation accurately, including manifests and delivery receipts; Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks when necessary; Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns to the dispatcher; Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle; Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles; Process customer returns according to company procedures; Track and log all delivery activities using provided systems

Requirements

Desired Minimum Qualifications:; Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years); Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check; High School Diploma or GED; Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly; Proven experience in safely operating delivery vehicles; Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking applications; Strong time management and organizational skills; Excellent customer service and communication abilities; Basic math skills for processing delivery documentation; Knowledge of Seattle metropolitan area streets and routes; Ability to work in various weather conditions; Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication Preferred Qualifications:; Experience with material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks) preferred
