We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino Greymouth Dental on a full-time basis.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring patients receive a high standard of care throughout their visit. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Working Hours

- Monday to Thursday: 8:15am - 5:00pm (60-minute lunch break)
- Friday: 8:15am - 4:00pm (60-minute lunch break)

Responsibilities

Assist clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures; Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments; Maintain excellent infection control and sterilisation standards; Support patient flow and help create a positive patient experience; Manage clinical stock and equipment as required; Work collaboratively with the wider practice team

Requirements

Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred, although training can be provided for the right person; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent organisation and attention to detail; A positive attitude and willingness to learn; The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; Reliable transport and the ability to commute easily to the practice; Valid New Zealand working rights
