Desktop Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Providing expert on-site and remote desktop support in a high-availability Windows environment; Troubleshooting complex hardware, Microsoft 365, and identity/access-related issues; Driving efficiency by automating deployments and system fixes using PowerShell and scripts; Managing the full incident lifecycle and collaborating closely with internal infrastructure teams; Providing end-to-end support (1st through to 3rd line) to ensure minimal downtime; Participating in a rotational on-call support schedule to maintain 24/7 business continuity

Requirements

Strong experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory; Practical background in fast-paced, time-critical environments; Ability to use PowerShell or scripting to streamline repetitive tasks; Exceptional analytical skills and a strong customer-centric focus; Eager, motivated, and ready to take ownership of new challenges; Ability to participate in rotational on-call shifts and work in a hybrid capacity
