We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Ansible automation , Docker containerization , and Ubuntu-based environments with strong Automation experience in bash, Python . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure automation and containerized deployments in customer project environments

Educational qualification: BTech ins CSE/EEE

Experience : 4 years to 10 years

- Work location would only be Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and provisioning.; Design and deploy Docker containers for microservices and applications on Ubuntu servers.; Automate infrastructure tasks including software installation, system updates, and service configuration.; Manage CI/CD pipelines integrating Ansible and Docker workflows.; Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications and system performance.; Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.; Maintain documentation for infrastructure and automation processes.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Ansible (roles, playbooks, inventories, modules).; Rich Experience with Docker (images, containers, volumes, networking).; Solid understanding of Ubuntu Linux system administration.; Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).; Knowledge of version control systems (Git).; Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python .; Excellent English communications, verbally but also especially in technical writing of customer facing documentation; Must be Flexible to work in Europe & US central time zones.

Nice to have

Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).; Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).; Certification in Ansible or Docker is a plus.; Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices .
