Digital Designer

As our new Digital Designer, you’ll play an active role in the strategy process—helping uncover meaningful client and user insights that shape thoughtful user experiences and compelling visual concepts.

Responsibilities

Play an active role in the strategy process; uncover meaningful client and user insights; shape thoughtful user experiences and compelling visual concepts; apply skills to mission-driven clients; craft elegant user experiences that meet clients’ goals; present designs to clients and stand behind ideas; push boundaries and implement innovative techniques; collaborate with other departments and clients; work with other teams on high-level creative concepts and pitching work

Requirements

2-5 years in UX and web design; maintain own website portfolio with a large collection of inspiring work samples; ability to design in a variety of styles; ability to execute unique-yet-functional solutions; create elegant mobile, responsive web designs; adept at developing logos and visual brand systems; collaborative and able to participate in meetings with other departments and clients; work with writers and strategists on high-level creative concepts and pitching work; multi-dimensional with additional design skills

Nice to have

Experience managing and mentoring more junior designers; illustration; typography; motion design; front-end coding
