Direct Support Professional (DSP)

At DABS, Inc., we provide comprehensive skills training and supported living services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll be a trusted presence in the lives of those we serve. Whether you're helping with day-to-day tasks or supporting a new life skill, you'll play a meaningful role in someone's journey toward greater independence.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with everyday activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene routines; Take individuals on community outings—whether for appointments, errands, or just to enjoy the day; Track and document changes in overall health and behavior to support their care; Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed; Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support

Requirements

A caring heart and a commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence; Reliable transportation to and from work; Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance; Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check; CPR Certification and a recent TB test
