Director, Global PMO

As the Director, Global PMO, you will lead the Global PMO within Operational Excellence and Transformation, elevating Crunchyroll's execution discipline by providing a consistent approach to planning, governing, and delivering complex cross-functional programs. You will report to the Senior Director, Global PMO & Transformation. The Global PMO & Transformation team is being established as the execution engine for Crunchyroll's most complex, high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the Global PMO as a center of excellence and execution team; translate enterprise and OXT priorities into a focused PMO portfolio; establish operating cadences, performance expectations, and resource-allocation principles; build a high-performing team; Lead or oversee high-priority cross-functional programs such as territory launches, pricing changes, and operating-model changes; build integrated plans and maintain momentum from mobilization through handoff; Establish governance forums, RAID management, decision pathways, escalation mechanisms, and executive-sponsor engagement; Maintain a transparent, fact-based view of the PMO portfolio and synthesize executive reporting and recommendations; Define and improve project and program-management methodologies, templates, tools, reporting standards, and governance practices; coach embedded PMs and business teams; Build partnerships across Regional teams, Content, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Business Development, Enterprise Technology, and other functions; Partner with business owners and Business Analysis to define success measures and track program outcomes

Requirements

12+ years of professional experience in program/project management, business operations, strategy, transformation, or management consulting, including significant experience leading large cross-functional programs and managing project or program-management professionals; 5+ years of experience managing program managers; Demonstrated experience building and scaling global programs, operating models, or PMO frameworks from the ground up; Proven track record delivering complex, multi-workstream programs from ambiguity through implementation; Deep expertise in integrated planning, program governance, portfolio management, RAID management, executive reporting, and decision/escalation mechanisms; Exceptional executive presence, communication, analytical synthesis, and stakeholder-management skills; Experience with project management tools (i.e. Asana, JIRA, etc.)

Nice to have

Experience in media, entertainment, streaming, digital platforms, or technology, with exposure to content, marketing, localization, or digital supply-chain operations; Experience with large-scale business transformation, operational excellence, management consulting, and/or change-management programs; Experience working across global and regional operating models and with technology-enabled transformation, including automation or AI initiatives
