Director of Product

Courier Health is building patient engagement software used by biopharma companies to support patients from diagnosis through initiating and remaining on therapy. As Director of Product, you will lead a team of product managers covering the full platform, reporting directly to the CEO. You will decide what the company builds, in what order, and what it deliberately does not do. The role is based in New York and is office-first, with in-person collaboration four days per week.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of product managers covering the full platform, reporting directly to the CEO; Coach product managers in weekly one on ones and roadmap reviews, and raise the bar on writing and discovery; Set the product roadmap and sequencing across a growing customer base, and make tradeoffs between strategic client needs and platform needs; Own discovery, writing specs, and making product decisions on the most important bets; Get the team in front of users (patient support program, field team, and hub operations personnel), and translate customer insights into product; Build customer and market fluency to shape the roadmap

Requirements

10+ years in product management at a B2B software company, with a track record of shipping products enterprise customers renewed and expanded; 5+ years managing product managers, including hiring, coaching, and giving hard feedback; Proven ownership of a roadmap end to end from customer discovery and strategy through launch and measured outcomes; Strong technical fluency to work through data models, API integrations, and architectural tradeoffs with engineers (coding not required); Excellent judgment under ambiguity, with the ability to make calls on incomplete information and change course when evidence shifts; Exceptional written communication; Comfortable working directly with senior customer stakeholders; Experience building process where none existed, with the restraint to keep it minimal

Worked in health tech, pharma tech, or life sciences, or knows patient support programs, hub services, or specialty pharmacy workflows firsthand; Built products on top of complex data integrations or healthcare interoperability standards; Shipped LLM-powered features that customers actually use; An early product hire who helped a company scale through growth
