Dishwasher

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area, supporting kitchen staff with their needs, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards; Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area; Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware; Ensure items are cleaned, sanitized, and dried before returning to storage; Assist kitchen staff by providing clean and sanitized equipment and utensils; Help with food preparation tasks and other kitchen duties as assigned; Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues; Follow all health and safety guidelines; Ensure compliance with food safety and cleanliness regulations; Participate in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors; Assist with organizing and storing kitchen supplies and equipment; Support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment; Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally; Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods; Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases; Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required; Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally; Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity; Attendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule; Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.

Nice to have

High school diploma or equivalent; Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role; Proficient communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
