Dishwasher

Maintains china /dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

Maintains china/dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly and sanitary condition; Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine; Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures; Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth; Ensures compliance with all outlined safety procedures; Maintains and tracks temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards; Cleans and maintains dish area in an orderly manner; Sweeps and mops kitchen floors at appropriate intervals; Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces; Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers; Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; May assist with loading or unloading supplies and product; Performs other functions and duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
