DSP Supervisor - CRC

Summary: Monitors and supports work of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Schedules and delegates work and responsibilities. Provides personal care services and participates in implementation of program/treatment plans for individuals served by the program.

Responsibilities

Monitors and supports work of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs); Schedules and delegates work and responsibilities; Provides personal care and assists individuals served with self-help skills including toileting, grooming, feeding, bathing, and dressing; Observes and records data to document progress; Implements behavior modification techniques; Assigns DSPs to care teams and ensures staff follow schedules and program plans; Ensures program compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations; Conducts random quality checks; Assists with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff; Shares on-call responsibilities for staff coverage and emergent situations

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; Six months direct care experience and/or training; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Excellent organizational skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to involve appropriate people in decision-making; Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Maintains current knowledge and understanding of regulations; Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals receiving services with diverse ability levels and employees with diverse experience and knowledge levels; Ability to be self-directed, creative and to take initiative; Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness; Knowledge and ability to use and/or learn Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google and other platforms utilized by ESA; Arkansas Driver's License; Directly supervises up to 10 employees; Ability to perform physical demands including regularly lifting/moving up to 20 pounds and frequently lifting/moving 30 or more pounds with 2-person lift
