Electrical Engineer

They are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide solutions and solve problems on all the sites electrical & automation systems.

Responsibilities

Dealing with complex electrical and electronic breakdowns and repairs; Working on various automation and controls, HMi's, production and packaging machinery; PLC electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and modifications to existing code; Fault finding and interrogation of circuits, variable speed drives, AC drives, control panels, inverters; Electrical isolation, safety and LOTO; Upgrade projects – installation, testing, inspection and commissioning

Requirements

Experienced electrical/electronics engineer; Knowledge of electrical safety, isolation and LOTO procedures; PLC electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and modifications – Siemens; NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or electronic engineering; Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; Able to read and interpret electrical and control schematics; Worked on circuits, inverters, instrumentation, control panels, variable speed drives, HMi's
