Employment Consultant

The Employment Consultant will support participants with disability to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment, help participants see their strengths, overcome obstacles, advocate for inclusive hiring practices, and form partnerships with companies passionate about diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

Support participants with disability to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment; Help participants see their strengths, overcome obstacles, and take on new employment with renewed purpose; Provide creative solutions to overcome employment challenges; Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments; Celebrate successes with participants; Form partnerships with companies passionate about diversity and inclusion

Requirements

Champion of diversity and inclusion; Natural connector; Innovative and solutions focused; Compassionate and empathetic; Eligibility to work in Australia; A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle; A MyGovID (Standard level); Willing to complete a National Police Check; Able to pass a Working with Children Check; Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
