Employment Senior Associate

Our client’s Employment team is seeking a commercially-minded and collaborative Senior Associate to join the highly regarded practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team, advising high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors, including financial services, professional services, construction, transportation, retail, education, and energy.

Responsibilities

Advising on complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation (e.g. discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, business protection); Supporting day-to-day HR and employee relations issues (e.g. contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management); Leading employment aspects of corporate transactions, TUPE transfers, restructures, and outsourcing projects; Coordinating international advice on cross-border matters and supporting multinational transactions; Providing commercially focused guidance on strategic workforce issues and senior exits

Requirements

Strong Employment law experience (both contentious and advisory); Proven ability to manage Employment Tribunal litigation through to resolution; Experience supporting M&A deals, TUPE processes, and restructures; Skilled in drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements; Strong client relationship management skills; Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
