Employment Senior Associate

We are instructed on a new Senior Associate role with a top-tier Employment team, which has a standout reputation in the London market. Recognised as Band/Tier 1 in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 UK, the team advises an impressive portfolio of clients across financial services, healthcare and the wider commercial sector. With a strong and growing presence, the team acts for leading financial institutions, household-name corporates and is a recognised market leader in the public and independent health sectors. The team is looking for a talented Senior Associate to take on a broad and high-quality Employment caseload within a collaborative and ambitious team.

Responsibilities

Advise a wide range of employers, with a particular focus on financial services clients; Handle complex contentious matters including discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims in the Employment Tribunal and High Court; Support major non-contentious projects, including restructures, redundancies and TUPE matters across the UK and internationally; Provide day-to-day employment advice; Supervise and support the development of trainees and paralegals; Play an active role in business development, including networking, client relationship management, seminars, and training delivery; Contribute to internal initiatives such as knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

Confident and commercially focused Employment lawyer; 5+ years’ PQE in Employment law; A strong background in Employment Tribunal litigation and other contentious matters; A pragmatic, solutions-driven mindset; Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels; A collaborative and proactive team player with a flexible approach.

Experience advising financial services clients and/or multinational organisations (preferred)
