Engineering Internship - Water Resources

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water resources services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2027 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

Responsibilities

Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work; Work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control; Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD and GIS/ArcMap; Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports; Travel to job sites for field observation (depending on projects)

Nice to have

Civil engineering (preferred); Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS (preferred)
