Engineering Manager

Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer. Due to a recent promotion at group level, they are looking for a new Engineering Manager to lead the team!

Responsibilities

Part of the senior leadership team, managing a team of 12 in engineering; Manage all manufacturing & engineering maintenance across site; Lead from the front, be present on the shopfloor and in leadership meetings; Manage health & safety, engineering compliance, asset care plans, monitor & develop OEE; Budget control, CAPEX projects, continuous improvement activities; Create training & development plans for all in engineering

Requirements

Must have great people management skills – the team is very established and has good retention, so looking for someone to continue to develop the site; Automated factory experience – manufacturing / FMCG ideally; Understanding of engineering compliance, health & safety, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH; Experienced with budgets, CAPEX projects, continuous improvements; Qualified in engineering, IOSH, Lean manufacturing; Effective communicator, part of senior leadership team, dealing with various departments
