English Teacher

Elementa is working with a number of secondary schools across North Somerset to recruit passionate and dedicated English Teachers for a range of permanent and long-term positions. Our partner schools are committed to delivering high-quality English education and are looking for teachers who can inspire a love of reading, writing and literature while helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

Teach engaging and well-planned English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools); Create a positive and inclusive learning environment; Assess, monitor and support student progress; Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing success of the English department and wider school community

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; A passion for English and inspiring young people; Strong classroom management skills; Excellent communication and organisational abilities; ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
