ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Engineer grave shift

Maintain the facility through preventative and corrective general maintenance.

Responsibilities

General Cleaning & Upkeep: Sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning restrooms/kitchens, maintaining grounds (landscaping, trash removal).; Minor Repairs: Replacing light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles, fixing leaky faucets, clogged drains, door hardware, patching drywall/walls.; System Support: Changing HVAC filters, assisting with inspections of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.; Equipment & Tool Care: Cleaning, maintaining, and safely operating hand/power tools and assigned vehicles.; Documentation: Completing work orders, logging time and materials, reporting significant issues to supervisors.; Safety Compliance: Following all company safety rules, securing work areas, and identifying hazards; Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leaks.; Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.; Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.; Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.; Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.; Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.; Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
