This is an excellent platform to help clients with permitting of new projects, compliance assurance, auditing and environmental management systems for operating facilities, state and federal enforcement matters, remediation and site closure, rulemakings, transactional support, and Superfund matters. You will join a team with decades of experience handling EHS disputes before state and federal administrative agencies and courts, from permit appeals, rules challenges, cost recovery claims and contribution actions, to citizen suits. If you are a mid-level associate with experience in environmental enforcement and compliance matters, environmental litigation, and due diligence, this is an awesome opportunity.

Responsibilities

Helping clients with permitting of new projects; Compliance assurance; Auditing and environmental management systems for operating facilities; State and federal enforcement matters; Remediation and site closure; Rulemakings; Transactional support; Superfund matters; Handling EHS disputes before state and federal administrative agencies and courts, including permit appeals, rules challenges, cost recovery claims and contribution actions, and citizen suits

Requirements

Mid-level Environmental, Health & Safety associate attorney; Experience in environmental enforcement and compliance matters; Experience in environmental litigation; Experience in due diligence; Mid Level (2-5 years); PQE: 1-3 years or 4-6 years
