Responsibilities

Operation & Maintenance of Water treatment plants - Potable/DM/Purified water plants in shifts; Perform sanitization & CIP for water plants; Record logs as per cGMP & GDP; Ensure PPE usage at workplace & ensure safety in water plants; Cleanliness of plant & equipment to be maintained; Look after maintenance and operations of DM Water Plant & Purified Water Plant in shifts; Recording & Ensuring daily Water Treatment operational log sheets as per GDP; Close monitoring & ensuring PPE usage by workmen at operational areas; Operation & Sanitization, CIP & Regeneration of Water Treatment Plants on day to day basis; Close monitoring the process water consumption & tracking the abnormalities; Addition of water treatment chemicals and recording the same; Preparation of list of spares & day to day monitoring the availability of critical spares; Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same; Report any incident/accident / near miss / illness to the superiors; As per schedules preventive maintenance of water system shall be ensured; Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness; Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately; Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence of senior; Follow cGMP standards; Follow good engineering practices; Maintain good housekeeping & ensure cleanliness & no leakages of water plants round the clock
