Experienced Shift Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Shift Leader to join our franchise team.

As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily shift operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality standards; Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve individual and collective goals; Manage staff schedules and allocate tasks effectively to optimise productivity; Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies; Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently; Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management; Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment; Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff; Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives and improve operational processes; Prepare and submit accurate shift reports and other relevant documentation

Requirements

Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food service or retail sector; Demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service; Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain); Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to complete the course); Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team; Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills; Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends; Basic computer literacy for managing schedules, reports, and other administrative tasks; Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment; Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
