Facilities Construction Project Manager 5

This includes new construction, real estate development, space planning, and utility infrastructure planning in support of global operations. The impact you’ll make: As the Fremont site Construction Project Manager, you will lead delivery of a major capital project, including a semiconductor cleanroom and central utilities facility. You will be accountable for end-to-end project execution—from initiation through completion—ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership across cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, construction, and business stakeholders, while driving alignment, risk management, and disciplined execution on a large-scale, complex program.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, schedule, and budget, including site feasibility and land use planning; Lead and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders; Manage budgets, track spend, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation; Develop and manage schedules, monitor progress, and resolve variances; Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership, project teams, and internal customers; Ensure construction meets design intent, quality standards, and code requirements; Manage contracts and support procurement of contractors, vendors, and long-lead equipment; Identify risks, remove obstacles, and lead teams to resolve complex challenges; Deliver project status, financial reporting, and actionable insights to support decision-making; Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes aligned with business strategy; Manage project changes and ensure proper project closeout

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s with 10+ years; or equivalent experience or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience; 10+ years of project or program management experience; Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders; Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

Nice to have

Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Relevant project management certifications such as PMP
