Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and report unsafe conditions; Perform and document preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment; Inspect, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, repair or replace parts as needed; Install, maintain, and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment; Operate welding and cutting tools and fabricate/repair wooden and metal structures; Adjust, test, and fine-tune devices and control instruments for proper performance; Initiate purchase orders for parts and materials; Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S standards; Follow company policies, complete daily labor records, and perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures correctly; Develop multiple skills to support various production areas and work efficiently under urgency; Lift, lower, and carry up to 40 pounds as needed

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance field; High school diploma or GED; Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery; Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and measurement devices (micrometers, calipers); Basic computer skills; Tow Motor and Scissor Lift certification required; Knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems; Strong attention to safety, teamwork, and professionalism
