Family Paralegal

A Legal 500 and Chambers ranked law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to join its growing Canterbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Paralegal looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive Family team, gaining exposure to a broad range of family law matters while working alongside experienced solicitors. The successful Family Paralegal will join a well-established multi-office law firm with a strong reputation across Family Law. Responsibilities

Supporting Fee Earners across a varied caseload of family matters; Providing support on private family law matters; Managing client files and case management systems; Drafting letters, documents and correspondence; Attending client meetings and taking notes; Preparing and submitting public funding applications; Collating and redacting documents for Court bundles; Liaising with local authorities, Police, Courts and medical experts; Requesting and reviewing case documentation; Building relationships with clients and third parties; Ensuring the highest standards of client care throughout matters

Requirements

LPC, BPTC or equivalent legal qualification, completed or in progress; Demonstrable interest in Family Law; Strong organisational and time management skills; Ability to work effectively under pressure; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Professional and client-focused approach; Strong attention to detail; Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
