Field Service Engineer 2

This position is for a CIT Lead who will lead the installation team in collaboration with FSTs. The CIT Lead is a member of CEW (Central Execution Workforce) Installation Team and will also provide support to SEC and SKH sites. As a Field Service Engineer at Lam, you will step into the limelight of customer support. Your work goes beyond installations and troubleshooting; it ensures the operational excellence of our complex semiconductor equipment. You're on the front lines, understanding customer needs and collaborating with various teams to deliver solutions. The Installation Team Leader (ITL) serves as a small-group leader within the team, taking responsibility for both hands-on Installation activities and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation team in collaboration with FSTs; Provide support to SEC and SKH sites; Ensure operational excellence of complex semiconductor equipment; Understand customer needs and collaborate with various teams to deliver solutions; Take responsibility for hands-on Installation activities and team leadership

Requirements

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lam Etch equipment Installation activities; Ability to lead Installation work in collaboration with team members, Account Teams, and customer; Strong commitment to safety, quality, and schedule execution; Thorough understanding of EHS and Security requirements

Nice to have

4+ years of semiconductor equipment experience; Installation/setup experience with 30+ Lam Etch systems; Strong communication and collaboration skills; Experience in team leadership or project leadership; High level of understanding of Lam Research products and technologies; Candidates who have no restrictions or disqualifying issues for overseas assignments (e.g., visa eligibility)
