Finance Technician

The town of Eastham is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Finance Technician to support the Finance, Treasury/Collections, and Assessing divisions. This position plays a key role in payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax processing, financial reporting, customer service, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Experience in finance, accounting support, office administration, human resources, or municipal government is preferred. An associate degree in a related field and relevant experience are desirable; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Salary: $66,634 to $75,652, depending on qualifications, with an anticipated starting salary of approximately $70,000.
