Financial Analyst

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance based in Kinston, NC. Performs financial analysis of various administration projects and business performance. Plans and supports financial analysis assignments, recommends and implements changes in analysis and budgetary methods and procedures. Analyzes and interprets financial data. Prepares financial reports. Provides senior management with information on all areas of revenue and cost variances. Participates in special projects, preparing financial data as necessary.

Responsibilities

Performs financial analysis of various administration projects and business performance; Plans and supports financial analysis assignments; Analyzes and interprets financial data; Prepares financial reports; Provides senior management with information on all areas of revenue and cost variances; Participates in special projects; Business partner to functional leaders; Reviews expenses and prepares cost reports; Develops, implements, and updates financial reporting; Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, annual reports; Performs financial forecasting and modeling; Responsible for Capex financial process and procedure implementation; Supports accounting at month end close; Reconciles actuals; Responsible for adherence to financial processes and procedures; Assists accounting and controlling in on-site audits

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Account, Finance, Economics, or any relevant degree; 2-5 years of finance and/or accounting experience; Ability to independently develop, communicate and make recommendations to business partners; Ability to ascertain and explain variances for a variety of KPIs; Strong understanding of income statement and balance sheet; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or Google suite; Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
