FinCrime Analyst

You'll join Capi's first-line FinCrime Operations team, reporting to the FinCrime Manager. Day to day, that means supporting onboarding reviews (KYB), transaction monitoring case handling, and invoice approval checks — helping keep our queues moving to SLA while building toward more ownership over time. This is a hands-on entry point into fincrime/compliance operations — ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in KYB, transaction monitoring, and financial crime operations at a fast-growing cross-border payments business.

Responsibilities

Supporting onboarding reviews (KYB); Handling transaction monitoring case handling; Conducting invoice approval checks; Preparing clear recommendations for senior team members for KYC/KYB reviews; Processing Requests for Information (RFIs) and following up with clients/Sales; Flagging high-risk or ambiguous cases for escalation; Maintaining onboarding documentation and data accuracy; Reviewing flagged transactions and screening alerts against defined SLAs; Following up with customers and internal teams to gather information; Documenting case decisions and escalating unusual patterns; Reviewing submitted invoices against Capi's invoice approval guidelines; Identifying repetitive or manual steps and working with senior team members to implement AI-assisted improvements

Requirements

1–3 years' experience in compliance, KYB/onboarding, transaction monitoring, or a related ops role; Sharp attention to detail; Clear communicator, written and verbal; Comfortable using data and tools to make decisions, not just gut feel; A natural AI user; Fluent in French and English
