Food Stores ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Liquor Stores, achieving maximum employee job satisfaction while adhering to the standards required by the Hotel. Attendants will generally work in the beverage area and general supplies area.

Starting Rate: $20.86 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.88.

Job Duties Include

Reporting to the Procurement & Inventory Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Lifting and Carrying: Over 100lbs everyday
- Pushing Pulling: Over 150lbs everyday
- Repetitive Motions: Reaching, Walking, Standing, Lifting heavy objects

Responsibilities

Ensure all items are properly unloaded and stored in the correct location; Maintaining exceptional rotation of products, First in First out; Maintain a perpetual inventory on all products; Fill all outlet orders and requisitions accurately; Assist with all inventory counts; Assist the Receiving department with paperwork retrieval and delivery to departments; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge of food and beverage products; Previous warehouse experience an asset; Knowledge of Birch Street (Inventory Software); Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast paced environment; Must be a team player and have excellent organizational skills; High School diploma
