Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in Police custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites in line with an agreed schedule; Work flexibly across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Work fixed shift rota pattern of 2 day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off; Carry out some night shifts as part of a part-time rota

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum; Paramedic 2 years post qualification; Driving license; Must have right to work in UK, lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months; All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting; Flexibility to work not only in base custody suite but across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area
