Freedom Boat Club - Part-Time Boatcierge at Marco Island, FL

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club Operations team, the Boatcierge greets, anticipates needs, and suggests local attractions for members to enjoy a hassle-free day on the water. We are looking for customer-focused friendly and upbeat individuals. This position is part-time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; Thank guests with genuine appreciation; Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette; Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet; Complete daily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs and weather reports; Familiarize yourself with local waters in order to provide basic guidance to members; Speak with others using clear and professional language; Support the team to reach common goals; Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; Follow all company policies and procedures; Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements

Pass a background check and drug screen; Be at least 18 years of age; Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets and communicate via phone; Availability to work regularly weekdays, weekends and holidays; Ability to adhere to all safety policies

Nice to have

Experience in or around boats; Strong communication and customer service skills; Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity; Positive, cooperative attitude with the capability of working unsupervised
