Freelance Attorney: Legal Pro

We are looking to expand our network of Legal Pros across the nation to provide legal information under the Rocket Lawyer brand to individuals as well as small and midsize businesses. This is a remote, independent contractor position.

Responsibilities

Work remotely with customers sent directly to you, allowing you to collaborate with them at times that work best for both parties; Provide legal information to customers via brief, written responses using our Ask a Legal Pro service; Connect with customers by phone for scheduled 20-minute live consults

Requirements

At least 1 year of practical experience in advising individuals and businesses in your area of expertise; Active license in at least 1 US state where you are in good standing with your local state bar and no previous public disciplinary action; Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and use our tools to enhance the customer experience; Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer consultations via phone and/or video conference; Experience in one or more of the following areas: Landlord / Tenant; Employment Law; Corporate law; Contracts & Business Transactions; Real Estate Law; Family Law; Finance; Estate Planning, Wills & Trusts
