Cavista Technologies is seeking a Frontend Engineer II to build and scale secure, reliable, and intuitive digital financial products. In this role, you will partner with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences while driving frontend architecture and engineering best practices. You will support key initiatives, contribute to technical decision-making, and help ensure our applications meet the performance, scalability, and security standards required in the fintech industry.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications that support digital banking, payments, lending, wealth management, and other financial services products.; Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and compliance teams to deliver customer-centric financial solutions.; Develop reusable and maintainable frontend components using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring consistency across products and platforms.; Build intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex financial transactions, account management, reporting, and payment workflows.; Integrate frontend systems with APIs, payment gateways, banking services, fraud prevention tools, and third-party financial platforms.; Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, data privacy requirements, accessibility standards, and security best practices.; Implement robust authentication, authorization, and secure session management mechanisms to protect customer and transaction data.; Optimize application performance, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability across multiple devices and browsers.; Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.; Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to customer transactions, account servicing, and digital financial products.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.; 5+ years of Fintech Experience; Frontend Development (React, Angular, Vue.js).; JavaScript & TypeScript Expertise.; Financial Systems & FinTech Product Knowledge.; Secure Application Development.; Payment Gateway & API Integration.; Agile Product Development.; Regulatory & Compliance Awareness. REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS; Implements frontend controls supporting PCI-DSS and secure handling of sensitive input fields.; Ensures consent flows and data collection UI comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
