We are currently recruiting for a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. The incumbent will be responsible for the general sorting of metals of the premises.

Responsibilities

Receiving, sort and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys i.e. aluminum, copper and brass; Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler; Cleaning and shearing of radiators other general labor duties; Working with a safety-oriented mindset

Requirements

Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools; Superb Customer Service; Experience in metal recycling considered an asset; Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions; Good physical fitness; Ability to consistently lift or move up to 100lbs; Must be able to stand, reach, walk stoop and crawl; Ability to work as a team; Familar with OSHA regulations; Excellent attendance and safety record.
