General Labourer

We are looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Québec site .

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play an important role in our daily operations. You will be mainly responsible for receiving, sorting and classifying different types of metals , as well as participating in their processing and proper handling.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, sort and classify different types of metals,; Identify materials and direct them to the appropriate areas based on their type and quality,; Participate in the processing and preparation of metals,; Welcome customers and assist them when materials are received,; Weigh materials and enter data into the RECY software,; Operate various equipment, including forklifts, as required for operations,; Perform daily opening and closing activities,; Keep the work area clean and safe and perform other related duties.

Requirements

You are comfortable with manual and physically demanding work,; You are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, as needed,; You are responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious,; You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with your colleagues,; You have experience in an industrial environment (asset),; You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset),; You have knowledge of metal recycling and different types of metals (asset).
