General Manager

Come grow with us as the leader at one of Missouri's most historic, unique and beautiful, Hyatt branded, hotel and spa! As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations, strategy, and growth of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to drive the hotel's growth and profitability; Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape; Set long-term goals and objectives; Lead a diverse team of department heads and staff; Provide guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities; Oversee all operational departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, banquets, outdoor facilities, spa, and more; Ensure smooth day-to-day operations; Monitor service quality; Create and manage the resort's budget; Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions; Drive revenue generation through strategic pricing, upselling, and innovative offerings; Foster a guest-centric culture; Address guest concerns and feedback; Implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty; Ensure maintenance and enhancement of physical assets; Implement sustainability initiatives; Manage capital projects; Ensure compliance with local and national regulations; Maintain health and safety standards

Requirements

Proven track record as a successful leader as a hotel or resort General Manager or Managing Director; A minimum of 7 years of hospitality experience showing progressive growth; A college degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a college degree, preferably in Hospitality or Travel & Tourism Management; Exceptional leadership and communication skills; Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills; Commitment to meeting all deadlines; Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts, including weekends and holidays; Commitment to maintaining a positive and organized work environment
